While developing a robust selection of accessibility offerings over the last few years, we saw a need to place these tools in a central location for all visitors to easily find. To further eliminate barriers and accommodate individual needs, we have created a mobile accessibility cart.

The CAM+ Accessibility Cart is a self-serve welcoming point with tools to enhance any and everyone’s experience. Materials include See Play Learn Kits, sensory headphones, fidget toys, braille booklets, large print labels, and both accessibility and visitor guides. These tools are thoughtfully integrated with braille indicators on every label at a reach height everyone can access, clear instructions, and a QR code that directs visitors to our accessibility webpage. We are continuing to evaluate how to make CAM+ as successful as possible.

Find CAM+ just outside of our Accessible Expressions Ohio exhibition (near the Terrace Café) through May 12!

We want visitors to feel included, supported, and aware of the many offerings we provide. We’d love to hear your feedback about CAM+ and all of our accessibility tools! We are continuously striving to be better, do better, and be leaders in museum accessible design!
