Toast the terracotta warriors at CAM on July 27

CINCINNATI— Find your inner warrior and your inner craft beer enthusiast at the Cincinnati Art Museum’s annual beer tasting event Art After Dark: Terracotta Army Beer Bash, Friday, July 27, 5–9 p.m.

The Beer Bash will feature a wide selection of craft beers from seven local breweries, live music from New Orleans Creole band The Hot Magnolias, food for purchase from Dewey’s Pizza and Graeter’s Ice Cream, and access to the entire museum including Terracotta Army: Legacy of the First Emperor of China.

Sample brews from DogBerry Brewing, Fibonacci Brewing Company, Fifty West Brewing Company, Mt. Carmel Brewing Company, Listermann Brewing Company, Streetside Brewery and Urban Artifact. Beer tasting tickets are nonrefundable and are only valid on 7/27/18. Beer available while supplies last. Guests must be 21 years of age or older and present a valid ID to drink.

A representative from the Brewing Heritage Trail will be in the courtyard inviting attendees to learn about Cincinnati’s brewing heritage and its unrivaled urban walking trail.

Access to Terracotta Army is limited. Facebook RSVP does not guarantee tickets. Admission is free, but visitors must pick up timed tickets in-person at the visitor services desk in the front lobby beginning at 4:30 p.m. on event day. Visitors may stand in line for tickets outside the front entrance of the museum beginning at 3:30 p.m. on event day.

The timeline for Art After Dark includes:

  • 6:30–8:30 p.m.: Live music from The Hot Magnolias in the Alice Bimel Courtyard.
  • 5–9 p.m.: Food available for purchase from Dewey’s Pizza and Graeter’s Ice Cream outside near Pinocchio. While supplies last.
  • 6, 7 and 8 p.m.: Guided tours of the permanent collection. Meet in the Front Lobby.
  • 5–9 p.m.: Learn about the Cincinnati Brewing Heritage Trail in the Alice Bimel Courtyard.
  • 5–9 p.m.: Guests may complete a survey for chance to win a beer-themed gift basket, including tickets to the Brewing Heritage Trail and swag from Listermann, Dogberry, Mt. Carmel and Streetside.
