Benesse Lecture: The Three Lives of Grant Wood’s American Gothic with Dr. Wanda Corn

The annual Benesse Lecture on Art was founded in 1995 by the Benesse Corporation as part of a cultural exchange between the Cincinnati Art Museum and the Kuniyoshi Museum in Tokyo. The goal of the Benesse Lecture is a greater understanding of art.  The 2014 Benesse Lecture will offer a close look at American Gothic and its strange odyssey from the studio of an unknown Iowan artist 75 years ago to its international celebrity status today.

 

Reservations required. 

FREE for Art Museum members, $12 for general admission, $10 for students/seniors.*
