The Cincinnati Art Museum has one of the oldest and most extensive Japanese art collections among U.S. museums. Therefore, in the first Evenings for Educators of the season, we will celebrate this collection by taking a look at the art museum’s exhibition, Masterpieces of Japanese Art. Curatorial Assistant, Danielle Linn, will speak on the years taken to develop this exhibition, in addition to the catalogue, which provides the history and context for each item on display. Discover ways to share these works of Japanese art with your students.
