Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Materials (AICCM) More and more, conservators are coming out of the lab and into the public areas of museums and galleries in order to help people understand and appreciate the often complex, technically demanding work we do. Fandom, a new monthly gallery conversation, aims to bring together fans of art and popular culture in a playful and humorous exploration of the Art Museum’s galleries.  Each month, a different pop culture topic will serve as a lens through which to discover new connections in the permanent collection.  Join us this month as we Tiptoe Through the Tulips and discover that Every Rose Has a Thorn on a tour that explores floral references in popular music.  Spoiler alert: this program will be awesome.
