Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Materials (AICCM) More and more, conservators are coming out of the lab and into the public areas of museums and galleries in order to help people understand and appreciate the often complex, technically demanding work we do. Touch Tour for the Blind and Visually Impaired: Ancient Tales

November 14, 2015 - 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

Visitors with visual impairments and their families are invited to tour the Art Museum through touch on the second Saturday of every month.  Specially trained docents provide verbal descriptions and guide participants through the process of seeing art with their fingertips.  This month, we’ll explore artworks that depict the myths and legends of the ancient world.
