Cincinnati Art Museum Brush up on your art history knowledge this week by coming to one or all of these lectures at CAM: 10.22 @ 7:00 p.m. FREE: the Archaeological Institute of America presents Kara Cooney - Egyptologist who will follow the unconventional life of an almost-forgotten pharaoh Hatshepsut, the second female king of ancient Egypt. 10.23 @ 7:00 p.m. FREE: Contemporary photographer Paul Graham will speak about his process and work, paying special attention to his work on view in the Eyes on the Street exhibition. 10.26 @ 2:00 p.m. $12 for non-members: Dr. Wanda Corn will examine American Gothic and its strange odyssey from the studio of an unknown Iowan artist 75 years ago to its international celebrity status today. Touch Tour: Historic Conversations

Attendees meet in Front Lobby

Visitors with visual impairments and their families are invited to tour the Art Museum through touch on the second Saturday of every month. Specially trained docents provide verbal descriptions and guide participants through the process of seeing art with their fingertips. Each month features a different theme and focuses on 3 – 5 objects from the Art Museum’s permanent collection.
