Cincinnati Art Museum One Week Away: “Building Pictures: Architectural Photographs by Edouard Baldus”, on view July 19 through October 26, presents a dozen photographs in our collection by Édouard Baldus, the leading architectural photographer in France during the 1850s and ’60s. Featuring images of the Louvre, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and other buildings and engineering feats throughout the country, this display demonstrates Baldus’s mastery of the new medium.
