SAT 4.19 - Art In the Making 1:00-3:00 - Look at recycled art in the museum with artist Emily Louise Howard before creating your own masterpiece in the studio. This class format was designed for children ages 6–12 accompanied by an adult. $10 per pair Art Museum Members, $20 per pair non-members; ($3/$6 for each additional person). Join curators Cynthia Amnéus and Amy Dehan to learn about some of the Art Museum’s most recent, cutting-edge acquisitions in the fields of fashion and contemporary craft. During the course of this informal gallery talk, the curators will discuss their approaches to collecting, the formulation of this exhibition, and the shared affinities between objects that document and define the diverse aesthetic explorations by artists of our own time.
