Cincinnati Art Museum #CAMLibraryShelfie: CAM staff will often borrow useful books from our Mary R. Schiff Library so that they can fully immerse themselves in #art while researching. Our Fashion Curatorial Assistant Adam MacPharlain chose to feature his favorite book while working in our #fashion storage department! Behold! The Collection of the Kyoto Costume Institute text "Fashion: A History from the 18th to the 20th Century" :) #shelfie 10 hour ago via Facebook

Art After Dark: Blurred Lines

December 27, 2013 - 05:00 pm to 09:00 pm

Bring your out-of-town guests to ART AFTER DARK in Eden Park for happy hour and after hours in the galleries. Docent-led tours of “Blurred Lines: Impressionism at the Cincinnati Art Museum”, will highlight our special exhibition Degas, Renoir, and Poetic Pastels, while exploring the blurred, misty shapes and beautiful colors seen throughout our collection. Meanwhile, enjoy Pones, Inc., an electric, interactive in-your-face dance company, bringing Degas’ dancers into the modern day as they entertain with their special solo and group routines. And you won’t want to miss their exclusive performance to the hit song, “Blurred Lines.”
Pones, Inc. performs 6 – 8 p.m. in the Great Hall.

20-minute docent-led tours meet in the Great Hall at 5:30, 6:30 & 7:30 p.m.

FREE event with drinks and appetizers available for purchase. Reservations not required.
