Cincinnati Art Museum #ThrowbackThursday Students gather on the lawn of the Art Academy of Cincinnati in the 1920’s. Join us this Sunday March 29th at 11:30 when Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County 's On the Same Page Book Club will discuss the twenties classic The Great Gatsby. Part-gallery talk and part-classical music concert, this new program created in collaboration with the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music (CCM) and College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) explores the intersection of the visual arts and music throughout history by shared looking and listening. Each month examines a different era through the lens of the Art Museum’s permanent collection, featuring conversations with DAAP students and live concerts by CCM students.
