Cincinnati Art Museum Have you met "Ghost Cat"? :) Why do you think a cat was roaming around CAM in the 1940s? What would you have named this spooky kitty? Interesting to think about! Our Mary R. Schiff Library Archivist Geoff found some interesting info on the history of felines at the Art Museum... “As it happens, I was looking through some of the museum’s old account books recently and noticed there used to be a weekly order for “cat meat”. Could this have been an offering to appease the spirit of ghost cat..? Or maybe it was just to feed the museum’s resident mouser, but that’s not so spooky!” #throwbackthursday #halloween. Art After Dark: Rococo Vibrations

Join us for the only Art After Dark in Eden Park for happy hour and exclusive after hours in the galleries. Get in touch with your inner diva with the tours of the most powerful ladies in the Art Museum’s permanent collection and the special exhibition Genius and Grace: François Boucher and the Generation of 1700. Guided tours at 5:30 (members-only), 6:30 & 7:30 (general public). Special musical performance by Tracy Walker 6 – 8 p.m.

FREE event with drinks and appetizers available for purchase. Reservations not required.
Parking at the Art Museum is $4; FREE for Art Museum Members.
