Cincinnati Art Museum Have you met "Ghost Cat"? :) Why do you think a cat was roaming around CAM in the 1940s? What would you have named this spooky kitty? Interesting to think about! Our Mary R. Schiff Library Archivist Geoff found some interesting info on the history of felines at the Art Museum... “As it happens, I was looking through some of the museum’s old account books recently and noticed there used to be a weekly order for “cat meat”. Could this have been an offering to appease the spirit of ghost cat..? Or maybe it was just to feed the museum’s resident mouser, but that’s not so spooky!” #throwbackthursday #halloween.
