Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Materials (AICCM) More and more, conservators are coming out of the lab and into the public areas of museums and galleries in order to help people understand and appreciate the often complex, technically demanding work we do. Daoist Calligraphy Demonstration with Chen Bairong

Join Chinese calligrapher and painter, Chen Bairong, for a demonstration of Daoist calligraphy. Represented in the special exhibition, Realm of the Immortals: Daoist Art in the Cincinnati Art Museum, Bairong’s work shows how traditional calligraphic art still plays an important role in Asian society. Bairong will be demonstrating from 2-4 p.m. in the gallery and visitors are encouraged to stop by to see his work.
