Cincinnati Art Museum April showers bring May flowers, but who says you can’t look fashionable, rain or shine? This Hermès raincoat, circa 1968, was purchased for the museum in 1999. The pop-art-influenced golf ball pattern might have you thinking about springtime on the fairways, but our textile conservator is thinking about the challenges of caring for an object that combines modern materials (a plastic laminate) and traditional materials (a knit wool lining). 1 hour ago via Facebook

Anita Ellis, Deputy Director for Curatorial Affairs, Cincinnati Art Museum and Riley Humler of Humler & Nolan, 12-year Appraiser on Antiques Roadshow, will identify and describe your two Rookwood treasures.
