Cincinnati Art Museum Our #photography feature in Gallery 212 entitled "Unknown Elements", Now - Nov. 8, invites our guests to submit stories about the images within the gallery. Submit a short story and you may see it here throughout the month of October! Our first response, by Marisa Head, was inspired by an image by Florence Henri (1893–1982) United States. Portrait Composition (Woman with Three Bracelets), 1930, vintage gelatin silver print. Enjoy! 7 hour ago via Facebook

On the Road to Rookwood

March 01, 2014 - 09:30 am to 03:00 pm

Keller Center at St. Ursula Academy

Maria Longworth Storer founded the Rookwood Pottery Company in 1880, not only to bring the art of pottery to Cincinnati, but also to provide a good wage to working women. We will celebrate Rookwood Pottery, recognized internationally as an example of fine art pottery, on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Anita Ellis, Deputy Director for Curatorial Affairs, Cincinnati Art Museum and Riley Humler of Humler & Nolan, 12-year Appraiser on Antiques Roadshow, will identify and describe your two Rookwood treasures.

Sessions at 9:30am-12pm or 12:30-3pm
