Mike Rushing Just wanted to say thank you for the complimentary family membership to your museum through BzzAgent. My daughter is an aspiring artist and she absolutely loved your facility, as did the rest of us! There was so much to see and we look forward to the new exhibits. Having the cafe there was nice to have lunch so we didn't have to leave so soon. Thank you again and we will be sure to bring friends along in the future. 2 hour ago via Facebook

On the Road to Rookwood

Maria Longworth Storer founded the Rookwood Pottery Company in 1880, not only to bring the art of pottery to Cincinnati, but also to provide a good wage to working women. We will celebrate Rookwood Pottery, recognized internationally as an example of fine art pottery, on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Anita Ellis, Deputy Director for Curatorial Affairs, Cincinnati Art Museum and Riley Humler of Humler & Nolan, 12-year Appraiser on Antiques Roadshow, will identify and describe your two Rookwood treasures.
