Maria Longworth Storer founded the Rookwood Pottery Company in 1880, not only to bring the art of pottery to Cincinnati, but also to provide a good wage to working women. Anita Ellis, Deputy Director for Curatorial Affairs, Cincinnati Art Museum and Riley Humler of Humler & Nolan, 12-year Appraiser on Antiques Roadshow, will identify and describe your two Rookwood treasures.
