Original Cincinnati Enquirer and Cincinnati Post editorial drawings created within hours of 9/11 attacks are on display at the Cincinnati Art Museum
September 11–16, 2012
The tragedy of 9/11 required quick responses from editorial cartoonists Jim Borgman for the Cincinnati Enquirer and Jeff Stahler for the Cincinnati Post. They both heard about the attacks on the World Trade Center around 10a.m. and had to produce cartoons by noon that same day for publication. Using the national symbols of the Statue of Liberty and Uncle Sam grasping their faces, they captured the national shock and horror of the bombings. These are the original drawings that were imaged for the Cincinnati Enquirer. They will be on display in the Cincinnati Wing through September 16, 2012.
