Hudson River School artist Thomas Cole not only painted scenes of the American wilderness, but wrote extensively about them in his essays, poetry, and journals.  Explore the connections between Cole’s visual art and his written words in this participatory gallery talk with museum educator Liz Gardner.  Our discussion will focus on Cole’s View Across Frenchman’s Bay from Mt.
