Cincinnati Art Museum The objects conservator is being overrun with bowls! These are just a few of the more than 20 vessels that will be on view in our reinstalled Ancient and Near Eastern galleries, opening in the fall. The bowls are shown here face down with their custom-painted mounts attached. The objects conservator is performing some last-minute touch-up and consolidation to make them all ready for their debut. 1 hour ago via Facebook

Memories in the Museums

First Wednesdays, 10 - 11:30 a.m.
Designed especially for visitors with memory loss and their caregivers, Memories in the Museums is a new program developed in partnership between the Cincinnati Art Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Taft Museum of Art. On the first Wednesday of every month, participants join trained docents at one of the partner institutions to look at art together, discuss observations, and share memories. Multisensory and multi-modal activities complement each session and encourage remembering through all of the senses. All participants are invited for refreshments starting at 10am; gallery experiences begin at 10:30am.
