Cincinnati Art Museum Buzz on over this weekend and make a green project in honor of Earth Day! SAT 4.19 - Art In the Making 1:00-3:00 - Look at recycled art in the museum with artist Emily Louise Howard before creating your own masterpiece in the studio. This class format was designed for children ages 6–12 accompanied by an adult. $10 per pair Art Museum Members, $20 per pair non-members; ($3/$6 for each additional person). Each month, Art 360 offers visitors the opportunity to look at art in the permanent collection from all angles and to discover the who, what, when, where and why of some of the museum’s greatest treasures. Through extended conversation with museum staff in the galleries, explore the techniques and processes used to make an object and the cultural, historical, and social factors that shaped its creation.

Part-gallery talk and part-classical music concert, this new program created in collaboration with the University of Cincinnati explores the intersection of the visual arts and music throughout history by shared looking and listening. Each month examines a different era through the lens of the Art Museum’s permanent collection, featuring conversations with College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) students and live concerts by College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) students.

Yoga with the Masters

First 4 Tuesdays each month, 6 - 7:15 p.m.
Discover the ancient art of yoga at the Cincinnati Art Museum with yogi, Werner Hildebrand, instructor at yogahOMe. Through meditation, breathing practices and yoga postures, participants will learn to be more stable, still and illuminated. This monthly course welcomes all levels and will open space in the body, cultivate mindfulness and touch the soul.
