Cincinnati Art Museum OPENING TODAY: Woohoo! It's a long weekend! You should swing by CAM to check out our NEW permanent contemporary #art gallery! #free This new permanent collection gallery, located on the Museum’s second-floor ambulatory, will display approximately 35 pieces from the Nancy and David Wolf Collection of contemporary art in ceramics, glass and wood, and will be periodically rotated to feature new selections. The Wolfs have gifted over 200 works of art to the Cincinnati Art Museum, positioning our institution as one of the foremost centers for the study and enjoyment of contemporary craft. Creative Encounters: Japanese Inspired Prints

February 15, 2015 - 01:00 pm to 03:00 pm

Explore the Art Museum, experiment with art, and express your creativity in this new monthly program for adult visitors.  Each Creative Encounter will feature a visiting artist who will lead a tour of works in the Art Museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions, followed by a discussion of his/her own work.  Each event will culminate in a hands-on project, which will allow participants to experiment with the media and techniques that have been discussed over the course of the day. 

Reservations required.  $10 general admission, $5 for members and college students
