Art and Baseball

July 15, 2015 - 07:00 pm to 08:30 pm

Fath Auditorium

Each Art and… talk will explore what happens when two experts from different fields present their own distinct views on the same artwork.  This month, we’re celebrating the MLB All-Star Game by focusing on Art and Baseball.  Dean Hanley, owner of Dean’s Cards, will join Mike Shannon, author of Cincinnati Reds Legends, to discuss baseball, history, and Pete Rose. What new perspectives will you gain?

This lecture will explore the themes of the current special exhibition Up at Bat: Warhol and Baseball.
