Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Materials (AICCM) More and more, conservators are coming out of the lab and into the public areas of museums and galleries in order to help people understand and appreciate the often complex, technically demanding work we do. Sublime Beauty: Raphael’s Portrait of a Lady with a Unicorn

October 03, 2015 to January 03, 2016

The Cincinnati Art Museum and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco in collaboration with the Foundation for Italian Art & Culture, presents Raphael’s Portrait of Lady with a Unicorn on loan from the Galleria Borghese in Rome. Painted about 1505, this mysterious blond and blue-eyed sitter epitomizes Raphael’s excellence in female portraiture during his Florentine period.
