Be inspired by the most influential European and American designers of the 20th century, including Schiaparelli, Chanel, Dior, Givenchy, Norell, Scaasi, and Charles James, among others in High Style: Twentieth-Century Masterworks from the Brooklyn Museum Costume Collection. Join us as Chief Curator, Cynthia Amneus presents about these pioneering fashion designers from 1910 through 1980. Following the presentation, take a docent-guided tour of the exhibition and hear from our museum teachers who will share on ways to tie in these designers’ stylish work into your math and social studies classrooms.
Reservations and refreshments available 4 - 5 p.m., program begins at 5 p.m.
Participating teachers will receive CEU certificates in May.
Graduate credit available for an additional fee through Ashland University.
