Description:
Nineteen panels painted with scenes from the life of Saint Peter, the Crucifixion, and the Resurrection; framed in gilded gothic tracery, columns, crockets, and other architectural ornament. A three-dimensional sculpture of St. Peter is placed on a projecting base in front of the central panel. The scenes depicted on the panels are the Miraculous Draught of Fishes, St. Peter Preaching, the Crucifixion, the Raising of Tabitha, the Coronation of St. Peter, St. Peter Released from Prison, St. Peter heals Eneas, Simon the Magician Carried through the Air, the Martyrdom of St. Peter, St. Peter, St. James, St. Bartholomew, the Virgin Weeping, Christ Rising from the Tomb, St. John the Evangelist, St. Paul, and two panels showing unidentified male saints.
