A blue and white porcelain dish filled with strawberries on a wooden table. A glass at the right is filled with flowers. A glass of red wine, green grapes, a radish, cherries, a pink rosebud, three black raspberries on a leaf, and a spoon are also depicted.

[1] The still life was included in the exhibition Catalogue van de Tentoonstelling van Bloemstukken in de N. V. Kunsthandel P. de Boer, Amsterdam, June 20 to July 21, 1935, no. 116.

[2] According to the records of the N. V. Kunsthandel P. de Boer, the gallery sold the still life in September 1935 to "Moore, Long Island." Mrs. Robert McKay of Chelsea, Syosset, Long Island, née Alexandra Emery, was first married to Benjamin Moore. She subsequently married Robert McKay around 1957. See correspondence in curatorial file, not dated, but received August 2001.
