[1] François Heim noted in a letter to the CAM of March 21, 1984, that he acquired a pair of paintings by Gaspare van Vitelli from the collection of the Duchess of Almazan and sold them to Geier a few weeks later. Only View of the Royal Palace was subsequently given to the CAM.
