The Cincinnati Art Museum has an immediate opening for a full-time facility support team member in the Facilities Department.
Responsibilities: Working under the direction of the facility support team supervisor, the facility support team member will have responsibility for housekeeping and maintenance of the Art Museum’s facilities and will protect the best interests of the Art Museum and its employees with regards to facilities issues. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: providing daily cleaning, including restrooms; vacuuming and waste disposal; coordinating delivery and pick up of rented materials; setting up for Art Museum special events; transporting materials to event areas; providing friendly, helpful and courteous services to all visitors; and other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Must possess a proven ability to work successfully with others, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond to questions effectively from Art Museum staff, members, and the general public. Must be able to meet physical demands of position, including lifting a minimum of 50 pounds. Must be flexible to be scheduled for some night and weekend shifts. A valid driver’s license is preferred.
