Entry Fee (Cincinnati Art Museum: 4th Floor Award): $50.00

The Cincinnati Art Museum’s 4th Floor Award is open to professional, non-student artists residing within twelve counties in the Greater Cincinnati area. The 4th Floor Award seeks to promote emerging artists in the tri state region. Juried by members of the 4th Floor, a friends group of the Cincinnati Art Museum, the jury process encourages exploration and dialogue. The 4th Floor Award is open to professional, non-student artists residing within twelve counties in the Greater Cincinnati area.

The counties are:
Ohio- Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, Warren
Kentucky- Boone, Campbell, Kenton
Indiana- Dearborn, Ohio, Switzerland

Artists who have previously had solo exhibitions at the Cincinnati Art Museum are not eligible.
Employees of the Cincinnati Art Museum and members of the 4th Floor are not eligible.

All materials and an entry fee of $50 must be received by midnight, Mountain Time on the day of deadline. Fee is payable by credit card online, or by sending a check payable to the Cincinnati Art Museum after online application is completed.

NOTE: slides or hard copy materials will not be accepted.

First-time CaFÉ applicants must allow ample time to prepare their images to CaFÉ specifications and finalize the electronic submission prior to the deadline. First time applicants should allow approximately three hours to complete the process.

Maximum number of images per submission is six. Please include the title and date of work in the title field for each image.
You are encouraged, but not required, to include your website address in the field provided so that the jurors may explore your work beyond these six images.

Awards:
Prize for each finalist is $500; one winner will receive $1,000 and an exhibition in the Vance-Waddell Gallery of the Cincinnati Art Museum. The exhibition will be on view in the fall of 2011. One work by the winner may be considered for acquisition to the Art Museum’s permanent collection. Please see official rules for further details.
