Evenings for Educators: STEAM: The Merging of Science and Art in the Field of Conservation

Looking to bring STEAM, instead of STEM into your classroom? This STEAM focused Evenings for Educators will demonstrate the many ways art can enhance your science, technology, engineering, and math lesson plans. The art museum’s Conservation Department will present on how science and art collide daily in their profession as conservators. Take-home information on conservation, as well as other arts-related careers will be available for you to take back to your students. Docent-guided tours of the permanent collection, with an emphasis on STEAM, will wrap-up the program.


Reservations and refreshments available 4 - 5 p.m., program begins at 5 p.m.


Participating teachers will receive CEU certificates in May.

Graduate credit available for an additional fee through Ashland University.


Cost + Reservations

Individual sessions: $10 Art Museum Members; $20 non-members; $5 students.

Series pricing (all 8 sessions): $70 Art Museum Members; $150 non-members.
