Touch Tours for the Blind and Visually Impaired

Second Saturdays, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Visitors with visual impairments and their families are invited to tour the Art Museum through touch on the second Saturday of every month. Specially trained docents provide verbal descriptions and guide participants through the process of seeing art with their fingertips. Each month features a different theme and focuses on 3 – 5 objects from the Art Museum’s permanent collection.

Connect, A Multisensory Museum Experience for Adults with Developmental Disabilities

Fourth Saturdays, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
This program is specifically designed for adults with developmental disabilities and their caregivers. Each month, join museum educators for a multisensory exploration of art from the museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions, followed by art making projects in Artworld. Every month features a different theme, so come back every fourth Saturday for a new adventure in learning about art!

Memories in the Museums

First Wednesdays, 10-11:30 am
Join the Taft Museum of Art, the Contemporary Arts Center, the Cincinnati Art Museum, and the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Cincinnati on the first Wednesday of each month for Memories in the Museum. This program is designed for visitors with memory loss and their guests. Each session will include a tour, light refreshments, and an opportunity to participate in making art. Participants will observe and engage in conversation about artwork within three of Cincinnati’s historic art institutions.
