CINCINNATI— Kick off the Cincinnati Art Museum’s Art After Dark 2019–2020 season by showing off your dance moves during the FREE evening event Art After Dark: Get into the Groove, Friday, September 27, 5–9 p.m.

Bust out your spandex, leg warmers and acid wash jeans! Our popular silent disco is back, and this time, we are kicking it 80’s style. Enjoy food for purchase from FUSIAN and Busken Bakery, specialty cocktails and docent-led tours of the permanent collection.

During a silent disco, people dance to music via wireless headphones provided at the event. Visitors without headphones don’t hear the music, giving the effect of a room full of people dancing to silence.

The timeline for Art After Dark includes:

  • 5–6 p.m.:
  • Happy hour on beer, wine and cocktails. Guests 21+ only.
  • 5–9 p.m.:
  • Food available for purchase from FUSIAN and Busken Bakery (while supplies last.)
  • 5–9 p.m.:
  • Silent disco hosted by Headphone Dance Party in the Alice Bimel Courtyard (if weather does not allow, it will be held in the Great Hall).
  • 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.:
  • Docent-guided tours of the permanent collection. Meet in the Front Lobby. Free admission. RSVP not required.

Art After Dark is free and open to the public. Parking is free. To learn more, visit cincinnatiartmuseum.org/artafterdark. Art After Dark is sponsored by P&G, Dewey’s Pizza, Cincinnati CityBeat, and 91.7 WVXU Cincinnati.
