CINCINNATI— Interested in dining outdoors after visiting the Cincinnati Art Museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions? With new Picnic in the Park dining options from the museum’s Terrace Café, visitors now have an easy and delicious way to dine al fresco.

With the recent activation of the museum grounds, there are many outdoor spaces to enjoy an intimate meal or snack, including the Art Climb and picnic tables by the reinstalled Pinocchio sculpture near the main entrance. All picnic packages come in a beautiful reusable Cincinnati Art Museum tote bag featuring the artwork In the Park by Frank Harmon Myers.

Picnic in the Park dining options, which include Van Gogh To-Go (cheese and wine), Dining with Duncanson (lunch for two) and Cassatt Cuisine Bites (assorted cheese and snacks), are available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. Explore the full Picnic in the Park menu online. Packages must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance by calling (513) 639-2986. Orders may be picked up inside the museum at the host stand in the Terrace Café.

When sharing photos on social media please include the hashtag #CAMPicnic.

Another option for visitors is dining in at the Terrace Café. This experience offers a full menu with a variety of soups, salads and sandwiches inspired by works of art in our collection. Enjoy views of the museum’s Alice Bimel Courtyard and seating on the terrace during warm weather. Reservations are recommended (call (513) 639-2986) and advanced registration is required.

Please note that ID will be checked at purchase and alcohol must be consumed on museum grounds. Food and drinks are not allowed in museum galleries.
