Black Future Series: Creativity in Dialogue

Black Future Series: Creativity in Dialogue

Thursdays from Thursday, April 14, 2022 to Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 6:30–7 p.m.

Join us on select Thursday evenings in April as CPS Aiken New Tech High School students bring the galleries to life with original spoken word performances inspired by the artworks and ideas in the concurrent special exhibitions David Driskell: Icons of Nature and History and Working Together: The Photographers of the Kamoinge Workshop.

This event is part of the Black Futures Series inspired by David Driskell and the Kamoinge Workshop’s commitment to mentorship, self-representation, and the creation of opportunity, brought to you through a partnership between CAM and WordPlay Cincy.

New performances over three evenings: April 14, April 21, and April 28, 2022.

This event is free and open to the public. Visitors will meet outside of Galleries 232 and 233.
