Explore new artmaking techniques in an open and therapeutic environment. Start each class with a five-minute guided meditation, followed by a discussion in mindfulness skills, then experiment with watercolors, clay, printmaking, and more, and end with a second reflective meditation. This class provides a safe space to be creative, explore, discuss, and learn new techniques both in art and mindfulness. There is no prior experience needed in artmaking or meditation. *Due to the nature of the subject matter and materials, this class is recommended for ages 16 and up.
Registration is required. Full 6-week course registration only. All artmaking materials will be provided.

About the Instructor
Charity Rust-Jordan is a multi-disciplinary artist with a Bachelor's Degree in Spatial Arts and micro-credential in Mindfulness, both from Northern Kentucky University. She also holds individual certificates from the University of Cincinnati in Stress Management, Meditation, and Mindfulness and is certified in Meditation from the School of Positive Transformation. She also teaches at the Baker Hunt Art and Cultural Center.
