This month\, look at watercolor paintings up close in the museu m’s galleries\, then learn how to build color and use brushwork to create your own watercolor art.
\nBuild your child’s creative confidence and foundational artistic skil ls in this drop-off program for young artists ages 9–12. Each monthly fou r-class session\, taught by instructors from the Art Academy of Cincinnat i\, focuses on a specific medium or technique—such as drawing\, painting\ , printmaking\, or textiles. Sessions begin with a guided art viewing exp erience in the museum’s galleries\, where children will engage with inspi ring works and ideas. Then\, in our ground-floor classrooms\, they will d ive into hands-on learning and art making\, applying what they’ve seen to create their own original pieces. \; Learn more and register for Saturday Morning Art Class.< /a>
