As the Fall scenery is creeping in, we at the Cincinnati Art Museum cannot get over this beautiful Spring wedding we hosted earlier this year. On April 22, 2022, Molly and David Lai chose to celebrate their love with family and friends in our very own Alice Bimel Courtyard. Our courtyard has beautiful foliage that our horticulturalist changes seasonally. This past spring the colorful full tulips served as the perfect accent piece.

During the first look between Molly and her father, “The Vine” sculpture was captured sending love their way. While the guests were ushered to Schmidlapp Gallery, Molly and David immersed themselves into the oil-painted masterpiece, Alexander the Great and the Fates beautifully displayed in our European art wing. Once cocktail hour came to a close, the newlyweds welcomed their friends and family into the Great Hall, where they enjoyed dinner and dancing throughout the reception. The Great Hall shows two grand staircases that are sure to capture everyone’s eyes. The ever-impressing photographer, Amber Victoria, was able to capture the elegance that this wedding had to offer from beginning to end.

Congratulations to Molly and David Lai and thank you to photographer, Amber Victoria, for portraying this night and our museum so beautifully through your lens.
