As Karen Saunders’s special exhibition, You and Me and the Space Between: Our Expedition Starts Now, comes to a close, the REC team is excited to unveil its next theme: Art for All Seasons!
Opening at the beginning of November, the REC staff invites you to explore artwork inspired by fall, winter, spring, and summer in Art for All Seasons. Walk around the REC and discover a diverse range of seasonal artworks spanning centuries and continents through games, puzzles, art-making activities, and creative play. Be sure to pick up the brand-new activity booklet, featuring an extended scavenger hunt you can take into the galleries to explore the artworks highlighted in the REC.
Alongside these exciting new activities, create your own original artwork inspired by the four seasons! In partnership with local art thrift store Indigo Hippo, you’ll explore a variety of unique seasonal and recycled materials to craft something truly one-of-a-kind.
The REC will be closed from October 28 to November 7 for deinstallation and reinstallation. The REC will reopen on November 8 for the grand opening of Art for All Seasons. See you there!
