The CAM team cares deeply about welcoming all communities to the museum. After many years of work to increase accessibility for Deaf audiences, we are now able to offer regularly scheduled public programs with American Sign Language Interpretation. The museum has started a new partnership with GhostLight Artistic Interpreting, which will provide ASL interpretation for select programming alongside museum facilitators.

After 15 years of working as interpreters, Angelique Pinkston and Keara Beck Ortt founded GhostLight Artistic Interpreting in 2022 with the express purpose of shining a light on arts accessibility. All their interpreters are nationally certified with a background in the arts. Our friends at GhostLight are beyond thrilled to partner with CAM to provide accessibility services for the Deaf community.

Regularly interpreted programs include talks and lectures as well as CAM Kids Day and a public tour on the third Saturday of the month. Check the program description to confirm that an interpretation is provided. As always, visitors who need ASL interpretation for other programs can request services in advance by emailing [email protected] or by filling out the accessibility request form.
