A. Golenistcheff-Koutouzoff in Khudozhestvennyia sokrovishcha Rossii (Les trésors d'art en Russie), 1903, nos. 9-12, p. 370. The artist's name is transcribed here as is printed in the text, but it is correctly spelled Joachim Patinir.
