Bequeathed to the CAM.; Sold to Ruth Alter; Duits, Ltd., London loaned the painting to "The Flower in Art", an exhibition organized by the Victor Batte-Lay Trust at the Minories in Colchester, England, August 7-September 23, 1967, no 6, titled "Flowers with Blue Iris." A Duits, Ltd. index card identifies 12.2.70 as the date of sale to Richard Green Gallery. The sale is also recorded in the Duits Diary, February 12, 1970 (Getty Research Institute, Duits, Ltd., Archives, Box 24).
