CAM Kids Day: Daydreaming

Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 11 a.m.–3 p.m.

Free. Drop-in and pre-registered programs available. 

Dream big and drift away in this month’s CAM Kids Day, inspired by the exhibition Longing: Painting from the Pahari Kingdoms of the Northwest Himalayas. Create colorful windows with artist Ellen Long, pack bags for a pretend adventure, and make your own personal wish jar. Dance with your emotions in a workshop from Pones and enjoy an interactive synthesizer performance from musician Dr. Watt. Make art with Visionaries + Voices, drop-in for Storytime, and more!

Drop-in activities include:      

  • 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Enjoy mixed media art making in the Rosenthal Education Center (REC) 
  • 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Create a colorful see-through window with artist Ryan Leary in the Koetters Family Classroom
  • 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Pack bags for a daydream adventure in the Great Hall
  • 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Make a wish jar in the Great Hall
  • 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Make art with Visionaries + Voices in Gallery 151
  • noon–1 p.m. Join a family-friendly “Music and Emotions” dance workshop with Pones in the Marek-Weaver Family Commons. Features American Sign Language interpretation by Ghostlight Artistic Interpreting.  
  • noon–1 p.m. Drop in for Storytime with the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library in Gallery 126.
  • 1–2 p.m. Enjoy an interactive synthesizer performance and drawing activity with musician Dr. Watt in the Marek-Weaver Family Commons.
