Evenings for Educators – A Deep Dive into the Arts of the Ancient Middle East, Islamic World, and South Asia

This presentation for educators will focus on the recently reinstalled galleries of the Ancient Middle East, Islamic World, and South Asia through the lens of trade, migration, and the movement of ideas, techniques, and objects. Connections between Cincinnati and this greater geographic area will be highlighted during a guided gallery lecture led by the curatorial department. Arrive early for dinner and networking. For each program attended, educators earn CEUs.

About Evenings for Educators 

Evenings for Educators is the museum’s monthly professional development program for teachers. Through the lens of the museum’s collection and exhibitions, Evenings for Educators supports all subjects taught in the classroom. It also encourages a STREAM approach, as well as Twenty-First Century Learning strategies. The program is offered for teachers of all grade levels and disciplines, art appreciation volunteers, pre-service education majors, teaching artists, as well as community and museum educators.
