What was under the cape? How did they get that skirt to lay so perfectly? Join a first-of-its-kind fashion tour in the final hour (literally!) of Elizabeth Hawes: Radical American Fashion. Textile conservator Obie Linn takes Museum Insiders to the gallery just before we say goodbye to this exhibition and will show hidden details and display secrets of objects on and coming off display. View art close-up in a way normally inaccessible to our visitors--a true insider experience. If you are a fashion enthusiast, this is a “don’t miss!"
Meet at the yellow couches in the Schmidlapp gallery.
If you need accessibility accommodations, please contact us in advance at [email protected] or fill out the accessibility request form.
