This month, discover iconic illustrations and cartoons in the exhibition What, Me Worry? The Art and Humor of MAD Magazine, then learn how to tell a story through your artwork.
Build your child’s creative confidence and foundational artistic skills in this drop-off program for young artists ages 9–12. Each monthly four-class session, taught by instructors from the Art Academy of Cincinnati, focuses on a specific medium or technique—such as drawing, painting, printmaking, or textiles. Sessions begin with a guided art viewing experience in the museum’s galleries, where children will engage with inspiring works and ideas. Then, in our ground-floor classrooms, they will dive into hands-on learning and art making, applying what they’ve seen to create their own original pieces.
