Free, drop-in. Registration not required.
Join us for a pop-up performance of North Indian music, performed by Suhail Yusuf (sarangi), Jim Feist (tabla), and Stefan Fiol (sitar). Together they will improvise a mix of popular regional tunes and Hindustani compositions, all inspired by paintings and soundscapes within the exhibition Longing: Painting from the Pahari Kingdoms of the Northwest Himalayas. They will be joined by vocalist Meera Murthi, whose mellifluous poetic renderings will invite yearning.
Program takes place in Gallery 127. Limited seating available.
