The Cincinnati Art Museum is looking for talented, young artists, grades 7–12, to display their work at our 10x10: Teen Art Expo. Just create a work of art on paper that measures 10 inches by 10 inches and is related to the theme: "My Culture." This theme is intentionally open-ended. How you choose to visually express your identity, community, or other aspects of your culture is up to you.
All works must be on paper. No frames or mats allowed. All artwork must be submitted through our online form to be considered. 100 works will be displayed in person, and all other qualifying works will be presented in a slideshow. Online submissions are due February 28. Please submit your artwork by clicking the link here.
The Cincinnati Art Museum seeks to be inclusive in this exhibition. We will display all qualifying submissions in a slideshow in the museum during the Teen Art Expo. We will also highlight a select number of artworks that will be displayed in person during the exhibition. These artworks will be selected by the 10x10 Team to showcase a variety of schools and ages. The 10x10 Team is a group of volunteer teen art enthusiasts from around the city, that is organizing this year’s Expo.
Final artwork selections will be announced on March 7 via email. Artwork drop off will be specified in the announcement. If you have any questions, or did not receive an email, please contact [email protected].
Artwork will be displayed from April 26–May 2 at the Cincinnati Art Museum.
Each fall, the museum recruits youth to help plan and organize the 10x10 Teen Art Expo. The 2021-2022 10x10 team has already been selected, please check back in Fall 2022 to be a part of the 2023 Teen Art Expo.
