Public Tours

Public tours offer exploration, interaction and fun! Explore the collection and exhibitions with one of our free daily public tours.

Please note: exhibition tours are not available for Yayoi Kusama: All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins.

Tours are available at no cost on select dates and times. Please check the schedule of events for the day of your visit. Reservations are not required. Tours meet in the front lobby.

Tours on the third Saturday include ASL interpretation.

School groups are not permitted on public tours. If you have a group of 10 people or larger please reach out to the tour coordinator and submit a tour request form.

Exhibition Tours

Every Thursday from 6:30–7:30 p.m.

These tours feature a docent-led tour of a current exhibition in the Cincinnati Art Museum.

CAM in 60

Want to experience a tour that is forever changing and presents our collection in a new light every day? Our docents (volunteer museum educators) have total creative freedom to choose which artworks they present during a 60-minute tour. “CAM in 60,” formerly known as Highlights of the Collection, is offered Tuesday through Sunday at 1 p.m. and meets in the back left corner of the Front Lobby.

Interested in learning more about a specific piece of artwork, culture, or artistic movement? Let your docent know, and they will include that piece on their tour! Here at the Cincinnati Art Museum, we don’t follow scripted tours; we create tour experiences based on what you are interested in and what works are on display from our fascinating collection.
